Giant Agave

Giant Agave study from Barcelona botanical gardens. Agave plants like to be drenched with water and then left for the roots to completely dry out. This way the moisture stored in their leaves can be used, and then replenished when the rains come back. Gouache painting on A4 watercolour paper, 300 gsm.
