Desert Grass

A study of desert grass from Barcelona botanical gardens, specific name unknown. Grass provides hiding places and vital shade for rodents of the desert. Although they seem wispy and rather delicate, they are hardy against drought and harsh desert winds. Gouache painting on A4 watercolour paper, 300 gsm.
